My Sweet Osmanthus Oatmeal tastes like creamy, vanilla soy milk with a smooth, floral blend and a nutty twist. Sweet Osmanthus is a flower traditionally used to make Chinese tea, jams and cakes. It's such a calming, comforting flavor, I knew I had to introduce it to you. Enjoy!
All of our oatmeal flavors start with a base of organic gluten-free oats, flax seeds, hemp seeds, and almonds and then we added functional ingredients such as turmeric, osmanthus flower, and almonds to add additional flavor and functional benefits.
USDA organic certified. Tested and confirmed gluten free in our quality control laboratory. All of these ingredients are very nutritious, rich in minerals and vitamins.

Directions
1. Remove lid and Add 1/3 cup of water
2. Microwave for 90 seconds.
3. Re-place lid and let stand for 1-2 minutes before eating.

I actually ordered one of each of the flavors of Yishi oatmeal, and while I liked the base of these flavors, I have to say that they were much too sweet for my entire family. We have ended up mixing three parts regular oatmeal to one part of the Yishi oatmeal mix in order to be able to eat it. I'd like to like it more, but unless Yishi starts offering minimally sweet or unsweetened versions, I'm afraid we probably won't be getting more for now. Great idea, but just not for us.

I ordered the variety pack & already being very partial to osmanthus I was really excited to try this. It turned out to be my favorite of the bunch. You can really taste the osmanthus flavor which was great. I've had a lot of products that fail to capture it's flavor. I'm probably going to end up buyin this on the regular. The only critique I'd have is the sweetness. All of them are a little too sweet (to the point it over shadows the actual flavors) and the use of stevia was a bit disappointing. I find it leaves an unpleasant after taste and affects the flavor of a product in a negative way. I am a big fan of using sugar alternatives, though. Coconut sugar, monk fruit, or agave nectar may have had a less over powering effect. Or as another person suggested; an unsweetened version so people can adjust the level to their liking. Either way it was a really great, refreshing, & comforting idea for oatmeal and I will happily keep buying!

This flavor really surprised me! I already had the black sesame, taro, matcha & red bean before this, as I never had osmanthus before. But it was delicious! There is a subtle nutty flavor, which makes it so satisfying and hearty. Not too sweet, just right. I would rank the yishi flavors: 1) Black Sesame 2) Taro 3) Sweet Osmanthus 4) Matcha 5) Red bean
